Fossil Defender Watch Guide
The original line of DE Defenders launched in May of 1995. In Defender’s tenure in the mid-90's, we saw 42 watches in the collection with models ranging from DE-1500 thru DE-1544 skipping 1515, 1529 & 1530. The second line of Defenders launched in 1999 and were priced very high and marketed as such. Model numbers were DF-1001 thru DF-5004, with a total of 24 watches in the collection. The third line of Defenders launched in 2014 and went thru 2015 with a total of 19 new cases ranging from DEC-1000 thru DEC 1025 - the difference with the DEC series was the straps were interchangeable. The fourth line of Defenders is the one & only limited edition launched in September 2019, model LE1062.
The latest line of Defenders came in early 2023 with 6 solar powered Defenders, models FS5973 thru FS5978.
